インターネット競売大手の米イーベイは12月20日、ドイツのネット通販会社独ブランズ・フォー・フレンズ（B4F）を1億5,000万ユーロで買収すると発表した。B4Fは会員制の衣料品販売を手がける企業で、会員数は350万人。イーベイは同社の買収により、ネットオークション企業から総合的なネット通販への脱皮を推し進め、先行する米アマゾンを追撃する。
