高級車大手の独Daimlerは7月24日、新型「Aクラス」の生産をフィンランドの車両受託生産メーカーValmet Automotiveに部分委託すると発表した。同モデルの受注が好調なためで、2013～16年に計10万台を委託する。新型Aクラスは9月半ばに発売予定。これまでに4万台以上の受注があった。
