特殊印刷大手のGiesecke & Devrient（G&D）は27日、近距離無線通信（NFC）機能付き次世代SIMカードの開発を電気通信大手のDeutsche Telekomから受注したと発表した。NFC機能付きのSIMカードを携帯電話機に搭載すると、決済に利用できるようになる。受注額などの詳細は明らかにしていない。
