エネルギー大手の独RWEは3日、ドイツ国内のガスパイプライン4,100キロを管理・運営する子会社Thyssengas GmbHを豪投資銀行Macquarie傘下の投資ファンドに売却すると発表した。取引金額は非公開。ロイター通信によると、業界内では5億ユーロと推測されている。RWEは欧州連合（EU）欧州委員会の圧力を受け、同子会社の売却方針を2008年に打ち出していた。
