エネルギー大手のRWEは12月21日、コブレンツの発電・交通会社KEVAGの資本57.5％を同市や地域エネルギー公社（Stadtwerke Koblenz）などの合弁会社EKO2に売却したと発表した。取引金額は約2億2,000万ユーロ。同社は財務の改善に向けて2013年末までに総額70億ユーロの資産を売却する方針を掲げている。当初は同110億ユーロを目指していたが、時価を下回らずに売却するという前提を踏まえると、実現できないと判断。目標額を引き下げた。
