フォークリフト世界2位の独Kionは18日、フィンランドのクレーン大手Konecranesと事業提携すると発表した。コンテナ用フォークリフト事業をKonecranesに売却して同社から製品供給を受けるとともに、自社販売網でKonecranes製品を販売していく。取引金額は公表しないことで合意した。売却手続きは第2四半期に終了する見通し。取引に伴い英ウェールズのマーサー・ティドビルにある工場を年末までに閉鎖するもようだ。
