独RWEの再生可能エネルギー子会社RWE Innogyは26日、英ウェールズ南部のブリストル海峡に洋上風力発電パーク「Atlantic Array」を建設するプロジェクトを中止すると発表した。海底地形と深い水深がネックとなり開発コストがかさむことが避けられないため。プロジェクトの中止で浮いた資金は英国で進める他の事業に振り向ける意向だ。
