独エネルギー大手RWEの英子会社Npowerは11月28日、大規模な人員整理計画を発表した。RWEグループが進める事業効率向上プログラムの一環で、顧客サービス部門のバックオフィス業務分野で1,460人を整理。人件費の低いインドに業務を移管する。このほか、540人を他社に移籍させる。Npowerの雇用規模は現在1万1,000人。
