ダイムラー は2015年から燃料電池車を量産化する計画だ。エッセンで開催されている第18回水素自動車会議「WHEC 2010」でMohrdieck開発部長が明らかにした。販売価格についても、今後数年で現在のハイブリッド車並みの水準まで引き下げる予定。同社は現在、Bクラスの燃料電池車を小規模で生産し一部の顧客にリースしている。
