独自動車大手のフォルクスワーゲン（VW） はこのほど、韓国タイヤ のハンガリー工場（Racalmas）が生産するタイヤをVWグループの標準タイヤとして認定した。独業界紙『オートモビルボッヘ』によると、VWは2009年からトランスポーターやバス、マルチバンなどT5シリーズにハンガリー工場のタイヤを採用してきた。ハンコックタイヤによると、T5シリーズのほか、VW「ポロ」「ゴルフ」「ゴルフ・プラス」「トゥーラン」やアウディ「A3」などにもタイヤを供給した実績を持つ。
