韓国のネクセンタイヤ は年初から、ドイツのフランクフルト近郊にあるヘキストに欧州開発センターを建設する。欧州事業の強化を視野に入れた措置で、欧州市場のニーズを分析し、本国の開発センターとの調整役となる。欧州では品質の向上により好イメージの定着を目指す方針。韓国では現在建設中の新工場が2012年に稼働する予定で、欧州の需要拡大にも対応できる体制を整える。
