インドの自動車大手タタモーターズ のカールピーター・フォースター社長は独『ビルト』紙（5日付、電子版）とのインタビューの中で、低価格車「ナノ」を2～3年以内に欧州市場に投入する計画を明らかにした。インド市場では2,000ユーロからの価格で販売しているが、欧州向けは安全装備を拡充するため、価格は5,000ユーロ以上になる見通しとした。3気筒ディーゼルエンジン（出力68PS）を搭載した4シートモデルを発売する方針という。
