ドイツのシュツットガルト経済開発公社（WRS）は、電気自動車のサウンドデザインを競うコンテストを実施する。個人、法人、研究機関を対象とするもので、応募期間は12月9日まで。WRSが提供する自動車の走行映像にサウンドをつけて応募する。従来の内燃エンジン車のイミテーションは対象外とし、住民の騒音にならないような音で、ドライバーや歩行者が走行状況を把握できるサウンドを募集する。
