中国科学院と英リーズ大学はこのほど、次世代エネルギー貯蔵技術の研究を目的とした共同研究プロジェクトを始動した。バッテリーから水力発電、圧縮空気エネルギー貯蔵など幅広い技術を研究対象とする。予算は400万ポンドで、約50人の研究者が新素材の開発やエネルギー貯蔵プロセス技術の研究、エネルギーの効率的な輸送や利用方法の研究などに取り組む。
