独商用車大手のMAN は9月30日、ブラジルで計5,210台の大型受注を獲得したと発表した。同国の農業開発省（MDA）から1,747台のトラックおよびサンパウロ州の教育省（Seduc）からスクールバス2,603台を受注したほか、8月には同国軍隊から860台の車両を受注した。政府は経済成長加速化プログラム（PAC）の一環として、トラックやバスの市場活性化に取り組むほか、経済の活性化に寄与するプロジェクトへの商用車の投入を支援しているという。
