自動車大手の独Volkswagen（VW）が中国の提携先である上海汽車（SIAC）と共同で電気自動車（EV）を投入する。中国工業情報省によると、同省は両社の合弁会社Shanghai VWがEV「Tantus」を生産することを承認した。VWは第一汽車（FAW）ともEV「開利（Kaili）」を共同生産することが認められており、中国市場ではEVを計2モデル販売することになった。
