重電大手のスイスABBは17日、インド子会社 ABB Limitedへの出資比率を現在の約52％から75％に引き上げる計画を明らかにした。7月8～27日に1株当たり900ルピーの条件で株式公開買い付け（TOB）を実施する方針。TOB総額は10億ドル弱を見込んでいる。ABB Limitedの直近の売上高は14億ドルで、営業利益は1億1,700万ユーロ。親会社ABBは今回のTOBにより同子会社への統制力を強化、急成長を続けるインド市場の開拓を加速する。
