ドイツ連邦雇用庁（BA）が1日発表した2010年5月の失業者数は前月から16万5,000人減の324万2,000人で、5月としては18年来の低水準となった。輸出産業の好調が雇用情勢に強く反映された格好で、前年同月比の失業者数の減少幅は21万7,000人に達した。失業率は前月比0.4ポイント減の7.7％。同庁が毎月作成する求人指数BA-Xをみても5月は前月比8ポイント増の157とリーマンショック直後の08年10月の水準までほぼ回復しており、労働市場の改善は今後も続く見通しだ。
