電機大手の独Siemensは9日、アルゼンチンの電力事業者Fideicomiso Central Termoelectrica Guillermo Brownからガス発電所を受注したと発表した。取引価格は10年間の保守サービスを含めて約8億ドル、発電能力は約580メガワット。稼働開始は2015年を予定している。アルゼンチンの総発電能力は約3万メガワットで、Siemensが手がけた施設はその10％の3,000メガワットに上る。
