米ゼネラルモーターズ（GM） は12日、スウェーデン子会社サーブ の清算手続きを開始した。スウェーデン当局から派遣された2人の担当者が今後、経営陣や従業員代表などと協議を進める。同時にサーブの買収候補との交渉も継続する。サーブの本社があるトロールヘタンでは同日、約3,000人の従業員が抗議デモを行い、早急に投資家をみつけるよう要求した。GMは清算を開始しても売却は可能と説明する一方、このままの状態が続けばサーブは資金を失うばかりで売却がさらに困難になるとして冷静な対応を求めている。
