欧州連合（EU）の欧州委員会は19日、スペインの自動車部品会社Gestamp Automocion による独自動車部品大手エドシャの車体部品部門の買収計画を承認したと発表した。両社は重複する事業が少なく、重複する分野においても統合による競争上の問題はないと判断した。エドシャは2009年2月に欧州域内の事業会社の会社更生手続き適用を申請。カブリオレ用ルーフ事業は独自動車部品メーカーのべバストが買収した。
