欧州自動車工業会（ACEA）は1日、中国自動車大手・吉利汽車の子会社でスウェーデン自動車大手のボルボ・カーズ が9月から同工業会に加盟したと発表した。ボルボはこれまでも米フォードの子会社としてACEAと協力してきた経緯がある。ボルボのステファン・ジャコビー社長兼最高経営責任者（CEO）はACEAへの加盟について、「EUの規制や産業政策について他の欧州自動車メーカーと連携していきたい」と語った。
