米自動車部品大手のテネコ は、欧州地域での企業買収に意欲を示している。同社のJosep M. Fornos欧州事業・上級副社長は独経済紙『ハンデルスブラット』に対し、「事業強化に向けて、（買収候補を）積極的に探している」と明らかにした。同紙によると、自動車市場の回復を受けて、部品業界では買収の動きが活発化している。仏自動車部品大手フォルシアのYann Delabriere社長も先ごろ、コックピットの電子機器および木製内装材の分野での企業買収に関心を示していた。
