韓国の起亜自動車 は17日、英国市場で小型車「ピカント」の新モデルの販売を開始した。「カッパ（Kappa）」と呼ばれる1.0リットルまたは1.25リットルの4気筒エンジンを搭載したモデルでは、走行1キロメートルあたりの二酸化炭素（CO2）排出量を前モデルから15グラム削減し99グラムに抑えた。このほか1.0リットル3気筒エンジンモデルなども選択できる。
