独自動車大手のダイムラー は24日、新型「Aクラス」の受注好調を受けて、同モデルの生産を増強すると発表した。フィンランドの自動車受託生産メーカー、ヴァルメット・オートモーティブとこのほど、2013～2016年にAクラス10万台以上を委託生産することで合意したという。新型Aクラスは9月半ばに市場投入する予定で、すでに4万台を超える受注が入っている。
