独フォルクスワーゲン（VW）傘下の高級車メーカーであるアウディ は7月から「S3スポーツバック」にLTE（ロング・ターム・エボリューション）規格のデータ通信技術を導入する。11月からは「A3」のすべてのモデルに全面的に導入する。LTE技術の導入により、大容量のデータ通信が可能になり、例えば、グーグルアースやグーグルストリートビュー、フェイスブック、ツイッターなども利用できるようになる。
