自動車大手の独Volkswagen（VW）は16日、中国南部湖南省の省都・長沙で完成車工場の起工式を行った。現地合弁会社・上海フォルクスワーゲンと共同で建設、2015年末までに完成させる。生産能力は30万台。最終組み立てのほか、プレス、車体製造、塗装を行う。同工場はVWが2018年までに中国に新設予定の生産施設7カ所のうちの1つ。
