スロバキア自動車工業会は15日、同国の2011年通期の自動車生産が前年の56万1,993台を12％上回る63万台に拡大するとの見通しを明らかにした。国外需要の回復による輸出拡大が背景にある。同国には韓国の起亜自動車がジリナに、仏PSAプジョー・シトロエンがトルナバに、独フォルクスワーゲン（VW）がブラチスラバに工場を持つ。
