トヨタ自動車は27日、次世代リチウムイオンバッテリー技術に関する共同研究についてBMWと正式契約を締結したと発表した。昨年12月に発表した次世代環境車・環境技術分野における中長期的な協力関係の構築に向けた覚書に基づくもので、すでに共同研究を開始したという。次世代リチウムイオンバッテリーの性能向上に向けて正極、負極、電解液材料の研究を行う。
