化学大手の独ランクセスは14日、同社の軽量素材がホンダの新型燃料電池車「クラリティ・フューエル・セル」に採用されたと発表した。傘下企業ボンドラミネーツの熱可塑性コンポジットシート「テペックス」とランクセスの高性能樹脂「デュレタン」を使用した、樹脂とガラス繊維の複合素材GFRTP(グラス・ファイバー・リオンフォースド・テルモプラスチックス)が同車両のリアバンパービームに投入。約50%の軽量化に寄与しているという。
