独産業用ロボット大手のクカ（KUKA） は3日、某大手自動車メーカーからブラジル工場向けのボディーシェルの製造設備を受注したと発表した。取引規模は5,000万ユーロ前後としている。すでに6月末に契約額の約50％に相当する設備の発注があったという。同社のティル・ロイター最高経営者（CEO）は今回の大型受注について、自動車メーカーのBRICS（ブラジル・ロシア・インドおよび中国）諸国への投資強化が事業拡大の追い風となっているとの見解を示している。
