仏自動車大手のルノー は14日、フランスのラルディに電気駆動システムの試験センターを開設した。電気自動車に搭載する電気モーターやパワーエレクトロニクス、二次電池などの性能や安全性、耐久性能などを試験する。同センターでは2009年からすでに作業を開始しており、段階的に拡張工事を進めてきた。投資は2,800万ユーロ。現在、面積は3,300平方メートルとなり、約100台の試験ベンチを備えている。
