独自動車大手のフォルクスワーゲン（VW） は25日、中国の第一汽車（FAW）との合弁会社である一汽大衆（FAW VW）が広東省の仏山に建設した新工場を開設した。当初はVWの7代目「ゴルフ」を生産し、今年末にはアウディ「A3」の生産も開始する。従業員数は約6,500人。生産能力は年30万台で、中期的に2倍に引き上げる計画としている。
