韓国の現代自動車 はこのほど、英デザイン会社のサムシング・アンド・サンと共同で燃料電池車を活用したアクアポニクス（魚の養殖と野菜の水耕栽培を一体化させたシステム）を開発した。燃料電池車から排出される水を魚の養殖タンクで利用し、また、養殖タンクから出る魚の廃棄物を野菜の栽培に活用する仕組み。同システムは10月21日にロンドンのデザイン・ミュージアムで披露される。
