独フォルクスワーゲン（VW）傘下の高級車メーカーであるアウディ は電動スポーツカー「R8 e-tron」の開発を再開するもようだ。ウルリッヒ・ハーケンベルク開発担当取締役が明らかにした。ただし、量産化については未定とコメントしている。17日付けの独業界紙『オートモビルボッヘ』（電子版）が報じた。独競合のBMWは2014年3月にプラグインハイブリッド車のスポーツカー「i8」を発売する予定。
