独自動車大手ダイムラー のディーター・ツェッチェ社長は23日、北京モーターショーが開催中の中国で、同国の商用車大手、北汽福田汽車と中国で合弁会社を設立する計画について年内にも中国政府の認可が得られる見通しであるとの見解を明らかにした。両社は中・大型トラックを現地生産する計画。ダイムラーのアンドレアス・レンシュラー取締役（トラック・バス事業担当）は3月半ば、同プロジェクトについて認可が下りてから約3カ月で稼働できるとの見解を示していた。
