独自動車大手のダイムラー は16日、2010年第2四半期（4-6月）決算（暫定値）の売上高が251億ユーロとなり、前年同期（196億ユーロ）を約28％上回ったと発表した。営業利益（EBIT）は21億ユーロとなり黒字転換した（前年同期：10億ユーロの赤字）。大幅な増収増益は、中国と米国の販売好調が主因。事業部門別では、乗用車、商用車ともに増収増益を確保した。同社は7月27日に第2四半期決算の詳細を発表する予定。
