独自動車大手のフォルクスワーゲン（VW） は2日、マルティン・ヴィンターコルン社長（63）の任期を2016年12月31日まで5年間延長すると発表した。現行契約では任期は2011年12月末でとなっていた。同氏は1977年にロバート・ボッシュでキャリアをスタート。4年後にVW子会社のアウディに移り、2002年からはアウディの社長を務めていた。VW社長には2007年年1月1日付で就任した。
