カールスルーエ工科大学（KIT） はこのほど、化学大手ランクサス のドイツ法人（Lanxess Deutschland）と共同で、特性を厳密に決められる合成ゴムの製造方法を開発した。同製造方法は、リビングラジカル重合法技術によるもので、合成ゴムの分子の大きさや構造を厳密に決めることができる。
