独フォルクスワーゲン（VW）のチェコ子会社であるシュコダ はこのほど、VWが開発中のシティーカー「アップ（Up）」をベースにした2モデルを年内に発売する計画を発表した。低燃費の小型車の需要が拡大していることに対応する。新モデルは、シュコダの「ファビア」と「オクタビア」の中間に位置づけられる見通しで、外観は今年のジュネーブモーターショーで発表したコンセプトカー「ビジョンD（VisionD）」のデザインが取り入れられているという。
