独自動車大手ダイムラー のバス部門が好調だ。同部門を統括するハルトムート・シック氏は3月31日、今年のバス販売が4万台の大台を超えるとの見通しを明らかにした。昨年は中・南米やアフリカ市場の販売好調が追い風となり前年比20％増の3万9,118台を販売。売上高で8％増の46億ユーロ、営業利益（EBITベース）で17％増の2億1,500万ユーロとなった。
