独変速機メーカーのゲトラク は9月に開催されるフランクフルト国際モーターショー（IAA）に電気自動車（EV）向けの2段式変速機「2 eDCT 600」を出展する。 変速機を搭載しない場合に比べ、発進時の駆動力が向上するほか、最高速度を引き上げることが可能になるという。同変速機は、プラグインハイブリド車への搭載にも適しているほか、リミテッド・スリップ・デファレンシャル（LSD）も装備できるとしている。
