韓国の現代自動車 は8月から、ドイツ市場にコンパクト・スポーツクーペ「ヴェロスター」を投入する。同モデルは運転席側が一つのドア、助手席側が二つのドアとするデザインが特徴。発売当初は、1.6リットルの4気筒ガソリンエンジン（出力140PS）だけとなる。変速機は6速マニュアルトラッスミッションを標準装備しているが、デュアルクラッチトランスミッションもオプション選択できる。価格は2万1,600ユーロから。
