高速道路や幹線道路沿いを中心に事業を展開する英レストランチェーンのリトルシェフ は、電気自動車向けの充電スタンドを国内全ての店舗に導入する計画だ。電力会社のSSEと充電器メーカーのチャージマスターと協力し、まずは2012年2月までに126店に充電スタンドを設置する予定。これにより、英国内の90％の地域で30マイル以内に充電スタンドを見つけることができるという。2012年末までに全162店舗に設置する予定。2012年12月までは充電料金を無料とする。
