英バッテリーシステムメーカーのAxeon と米A123システムズ はこのほど、自動車用電池分野で協力すると発表した。A123システムズが特許を持つナノリン酸塩電池に関する技術を、Axeonはシステム統合、設計工学、試験に関する技術を持ち寄るとしている。Axeonはこのほか、A123システムズの英国におけるプレゼンス強化活動もサポートする。両社はすでに、英国の大手顧客向けのプロジェクトで協力しているが、具体的な企業名は公表していない。両社は今回の合意により、協力関係をさらに強化していく。
