マツダ は11月26日、ロシア自動車大手のソレルスとロシアでの合弁生産に向けた協議を開始することで合意したと発表した。ロシア極東のウラジオストク市で生産する方向という。マツダは昨年末、ロシアやインド、ブラジルなど新興国での現地生産を視野に入れた成長戦略を発表した。同社のロシアでの2011年1-9月期新車販売台数は前年同期比77％増の2万8,000台に急増し、ドイツに次いで欧州第2の重要市場となっている。
