半導体大手の独インフィニオンは2月22日、同社と北米子会社がエルピーダメモリを米国際貿易委員会（ITC）に提訴したと発表した。エルピーダのDRAMとDRAM製品がインフィニオンの半導体プロセスとデバイス生産に関する特許4件を侵害している主張。エルピーダの当該製品の米国輸入・販売を差し止めるよう求めている。
