スイスのエンジニアリング大手ABBは17日、インド子会社に9億6,500万ドルを追加出資し、持ち株比率を従来の52％から75％に拡大すると発表した。これにより経営権を強め、インド市場での長期戦略に沿った投資を行いやすい環境を整える。

ABBはインド子会社の少数株主から4,850万株を公開買い付けで取得する計画。1株あたりの買い取り価格は900ルピーで、前営業日（14日）の終値に34％上乗せした水準となる。
