2010年12月通期決算で49億1,400万ドルの純損失を計上し、前年の黒字（139億5,500万ドル）から赤字に転落。米メキシコ湾の原油流出事故で巨額の損失を出したことが響いた。赤字は1992年以来。10－12月期は56億ドルの黒字となり、黒字幅は前年同期から30％拡大した。これを受けて、原油流出事故から中止していた配当の再開を決めた。
