独自動車大手のフォルクスワーゲン（VW）が一人乗り（ワンシーター）の電気自動車（EV）を開発している。通勤用などとしての需要を狙ったモデルで、同社が今春に発表したプラグイン・ハイブリッドのコンセプトカー「XL1」よりも性能が良いという。VWグループの開発業務を統括するユルゲン・レオホルト氏が『ファイナンシャル・タイムズ（ドイツ版、FTD）』紙に明らかにした。航続距離や最高速度などの詳細は伏せている。
